Then to Now.
I’ve always been driven by helping people — seeing someone happier, more confident, and better off than when we first spoke is what fuels me.
My recruitment career began in Emergency Services, supporting volunteer and employed staff. It's where I first saw what it meant to place the right person in the right role and their impacts on the sector. From there, I moved into Public Healthcare recruitment. I developed a real appreciation for the recruitment process and the relationships built behind every successful placement.
Next came ECE recruitment across New Zealand. Here I became genuinely invested in connecting professionals, whose careers shape the next generation, with opportunities where they could make a meaningful difference.
I moved into external recruitment, specialising in public practice accounting, first across the South Island, and later nationwide. It was here that everything clicked.
I found genuine purpose in connecting talented professionals with opportunities where they could thrive.
Over time, I became known for delivering long-term outcomes for both clients and candidates through a thoughtful, relationship-led approach built on trust, transparency and genuine partnerships.
Ultimately, that's why I later founded NOVA Recruitment: to create something more personal, more considered, and genuinely centered around people. Because recruitment isn't just about filling vacancies - it's about building lasting relationships and helping people and businesses succeed together.
The most valuable feedback I’ve received throughout my career is that my approach never feels transactional.
Changing jobs can be tricky to navigate and emotionally challenging - especially whilst juggling day-to-day life. I’m here to advise, support, and act as a sounding board throughout the recruitment process to help relieve job-hunting stresses and help you focus on what is important.
